This grant is made possible through a donation from the Coalition for the Advancement of Moslem Women. The purpose of this award is to promote opportunities for Moslem women to enroll in higher education and pursue professional careers. These scholarships will be awarded to Moslem women planning to attend an accredited University. The grant will provide for $1000.00 (one thousand dollars), which will be applied towards the first year of University study. It is designed to help low-income families and students who may not otherwise have the opportunity to attend an institution of higher learning.
Applicant must meet the following criteria:

Female High School Senior planning to attend college

Family Income below $25,000. Per year for household of four - Based on 2015 Federal Poverty Guidelines (http://familiesusa.org/product/federal-poverty-guidelines)
Minimum GPA 3.0 or better.

Two Letters of Recommendation.

Written Essay.

Community and Extra-curricular Activity.

Accepted to an Accredited College or University.
